Dublin Gallery Weekend – Friday 25th- Sunday 27th November 2016
Following a phenomenally successful inaugural year, Dublin Gallery Weekend is returning in 2016 with more galleries taking part. The visual arts festival will be taking place in Dublin from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th November 2016. Over one weekend, 36 art galleries across the city will throw open their doors and invite visitors old and new to experience the exciting and inspiring art on offer in Dublin art galleries.
What’s on at the Olivier Cornet Gallery?
Friday 25th November: 3-4pm, Parnell Square Tour: Meeting Point at Hillsboro Fine Art continuing to Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and Olivier Cornet Gallery.
Olivier will present our current show: Adrienne Symes’s ‘Seeds of life’
Saturday 26th November:pm : Mulled Wine and a talk. As part of our series of talks around Adrienne Symes’s exhibition – Robert Moss, An Taisce’s Flag Award for Parks Manager, will deliver a talk about the newly introduced Green Flag Award for Parks scheme that was only launched nationally this year. It is an important environmental improvement programme that seeks to accredit and award those parks which are managed sustainably. The talk will take place in the gallery so work by all gallery artists will be on view including new work from my recent solo exhibition at the gallery – Glomar Response.
