Palimpsest/ Rianú Artwork at Construct at Bray Institute of Further Education
An Arrangement of Skin – one of the eight artworks from The Palimpsest/ Rianú Project has been selected for Construct – OPW Art of the State Touring Exhibition. This exhibition was collaboratively selected from the OPW Collection and Art Collection of Northern Ireland by eleven undergraduate students from Belfast School of Art, University of Ulster who participated in the project, led by their Course Director, Louise O’Boyle.
The exhibition is ‘a culmination of connections and constructed discourses between the student group and the artworks’. The students were given freedom to develop the exhibition theme, select artworks, and inform the catalogue design and its content.
The exhibition will be opened at Bray Institute of Further Education on 18th December 2015 by Simon Harris, Minister of State with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works. Exhibition continues to 29th January 2016 and is accompanied by Construct a newly published catalogue featuring all of the artworks.
